Open Enrollment is just around the corner, and it’s your chance to take control of your benefits! This year’s open enrollment period runs from October 26 through November 5. During this window, you’ll be able to review, update or elect your medical plans, HSA & FSA contributions, life insurance, and supplemental coverage.
All employees employed on or before October 26 are required to complete Open Enrollment. Even if you plan to keep your existing elections, you must log into the portal to review and confirm your 2027 selections. (Please note: If you are currently enrolled in the Copay Plan, that plan is being retired for 2027, and you will need to select an alternative medical plan option.)
Our HR Benefits team is here to support you throughout the process. If you have questions or need assistance navigating your choices, don’t hesitate to reach out to the HR Helpline at 432-571-8471. We will also be providing detailed 2027 benefits guides and online decision tools ahead of October 26 to help you make the best choices for you and your family.
We’re excited to share three important updates to your 2027 benefits designed to expand preventative care, make specialty medications more accessible and optimize our medical plan options for you and your family.
Through our new partnership with Color Health, eligible employees identified at risk through a brief health survey can access personalized cancer prevention, genetic risk assessments, and convenient at-home screening kits—100% covered by the plan. You’ll also have access to direct clinical guidance and care navigation every step of the way.
We’ve added Leap to coordinate infusion care for employees and dependents managing chronic or serious conditions. Leap allows you to receive infusion therapy from a licensed nurse in the comfort of your home (including evenings and weekends) or at a local clinic. Plus, a dedicated Leap Care Guide handles the paperwork—including prior authorizations, financial assistance, and scheduling.
To ensure the long-term sustainability of our benefits program, the Copay Plan will be retired for 2027, allowing us to direct our resources into our other medical options. Across our remaining plans—the 80/20 Plan, HDHP-1, and HDHP-2—the company pays an average of 75% to over 85% of total premium costs to provide robust, affordable coverage. If you are currently enrolled in the Copay Plan, our HR team is here to assist you throughout Open Enrollment to review the remaining plan designs and ensure a smooth transition.
Through our partnership with CuraLinc, you and your family have access to an enhanced Employee Assistance Program at zero cost. This includes six free, confidential counseling sessions per topic each year with licensed professionals via in-person, video, or chat options. In addition to mental health support, SupportLinc provides 24/7 assistance with daily life needs, including expert legal consultations, financial guidance, and family care resources.
We’ve made everyday healthcare significantly more accessible and affordable. For all employees and dependents enrolled in a WEC medical plan, MDLive virtual visits have a flat $20 copay with no deductible required. You can connect 24/7 with board-certified doctors from your smartphone or computer for routine health concerns, minor illnesses, and non-emergency prescriptions without waiting in a clinic.
